I have hiked over 5000km on long distance trails across the world.
Here is a list of some of my favorite gear.

If you don't have time to read me, HERE'S A QUICK LINK
My Big Four
Tent
The Tiger Wall UL2 is my favorite tent. I bought it in Alaska in 2019 and it has been with me on countless camping trips and thru-hikes. It has never let me down, even in crazy alpine storms.
Weight: 2lbs 3oz.
This tent is a good option, especially for Europeans as there are not many UL gear brands on that side of the Atlantic.
Note: Remember to seal the seams before you head out on your first trip! (I didn't... and it was not a good time, trust me!)
Weight: 1.58 lbs

Sleeping Pad
The fact that I never have to worry about puncturing this pad and that I can use it absolutely everywhere is why I love it so much. I cut some of it off to make it lighter and pack down smaller. It is perfect for my needs!
Weight: 10 oz
Quilt
The Cedar Ridge Outdoor 0°F
Unfortunately, the CRO cottage company does not exist anymore... I'm a cold sleeper and this quilt is perfect for me all year round.
Here are 2 similar options from very renowned brands that people seem to love:
Backpack
I have two thru-hiking packs. Unfortunately, again, one of these cottage companies does not exist anymore. So I will list only one of these packs as well as another pack that I think is a great option.
I'll add here my CTUG Shoulder Pocket that I love.

Trekking Poles
Satellite Communication Device
Cooking System

Pot: Vargo Bot
I love the options this pot give me. It is super lightweight and the screw top makes it so you can also cold soak.
Stove: BRS
The lightest and cheapest stove on the market. I have been using it for years and it's been great so far!
Water Filtration System: Sawyer Squeeze
+I use a spork or a long handled spoon
Clothing
Shoes
Of all the trail runners that I have used over the years, the Saucony Peregrine are my favorite. But keep in mind that shoes are very personal!
Camp Shoes
Socks
Micro Crews from Darn Tough
Liners from Injinji
T-Shirt
Patagonia Capilene Cool Daily
Long Sleeve Shirt
Patagonia Capilene Cool Daily
Shorts and Pants
Midlayer
I am lucky enough to have been able to snag a Melly on my trip to Colorado a couple years back. Here are some similar options:
Puffy
I prefer synthetic insulation so that it can stay somewhat useful in case it gets soaked.
Rain Jacket
I have both of these and they have served me well over the years.
Bear Country
Bear Canister : BV500
Bear Spray: Counter Assault
